Come to the edge... where all children are 'free range'

Last Thursday, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 all headed off to Peel for a fun filled day on the beach and exploring Peel Castle. When we arrived, we all did a Sightseeing Hunt around the promenade - counting benches, asking about ice cream flavours and finding flags. We then headed up to the castle to explore the grounds...we learnt very quickly that we had to tiptoe as we walked in as the Moddey Dhoo was guarding the entrance.

After exploring the castle, we headed back to the beach for our lunch and a play. There was lots of us playing in the sea or building sand castles! It was so much fun. We finished our trip with a beautiful ice cream from Davidson's before nodding off on the bus home! A great day was had by all.

So many people complimented the staff on how polite and well mannered the children were!
