Come to the edge... where all children are 'free range'

We slept so well last night! We were in bed for ten o clock and we slept in till half seven. After such an active day yesterday we obviously needed our beauty sleep! Today we have spent the morning with both groups together.

First we designed and made our own rafts. We then tested them in the lake with some of us choosing to jump in afterwards. It's such a sunny day that we didn't get cold and the walk back up to our dormitories was glorious!

Then we all went up into the woods to do 'nightline.' This meant we were all blindfolded and in our groups we had to do an obstacle course! We found this quite challenging but Miss UJ, Miss Quayle and Mrs Gerrard found this activity particularly entertaining! With our blindfolds on, we had to climb through tyres, around trees and under barriers! Great fun!

This afternoon, we are making shelters in the woods and then doing a spot of problem solving. We are very excited for our tea tonight as it's meatballs and spaghetti on the menu! Tonight we are off to campfire and then tidying our rooms as Miss UJ is doing a room inspection later...!
