Come to the edge... where all children are 'free range'
Last week Jamie Blair came to talk to our key stage 1 children about the importance of bees! Jamie talked to us about bee keeping and how he manages his hives. We tried on his bee keeping equipment and asked him tons of interesting questions. We want to ask Mrs Burton for a hive on our school grounds! Jamie sent in some honey for us to try - which was just so delicious! Some of us had never tasted honey! Year one have been so interested in bees since Jamie's talk that they are doing some SOLE learning on bees - this week we are researching the question "what would the world be like without bees?". Thank you for inspiring us with our learning Jamie!
