Year 5 to the Laxey Wheel
Year 5 went to the Laxey Wheel yesterday to see what life was life for the people working down the mines during the Victorian period. We went on a nature trail with Helen, our fantastic MNH guide and saw working parts of the wheel and found out how they work. We climbed to the top of the Wheel, learned about how it works and basked in the beauty of the Isle of man on a sunny day!
